Ghol

Ghol (250ml) is a light and frothy Bengali-style Buttermilk that is recognised for its cooling effects and is popular during Bengal’s hot summer months. It can be salty or sweet, and you can even add spices to ratchet up the flavour. In my recipe, I use West Bengal’s well-known “Gondhoraj Lebu,” also known as the King Lime. This Ghol has an unmatched smell and flavour that gives it a truly royal touch.
